Larry King’s Suspenders
This is the kind of thing the internet was made for. Longtime broadcaster Larry King did an AMA at reddit, and was asked how many miles of suspenders he owned. King did not know, just that he had 150 pairs of suspenders. IAmNoodles came to the rescue.
I’ll do the math! [1] According to Google, Larry King is 5’9″, and according to [2] this website the correct suspender size for someone who is 5’9″ is 48″. Knowing that Larry King has ~150 pairs of suspenders, or ~300 individual suspenders, he must then have ~14,400″ of suspenders. 14,400″ of suspenders is 0.2273 miles.
That’s what happens when a forum has enough members that there’s always someone with the skills and resources (and free time) to get a job done -no matter how silly. Link
